You know, I really don't like the public bus. I want the tax dollars to follow me to a private car service. https://twitter.com/MacleodFlorida/status/1621136945991786499

@michaelaolaya @DeAngelisCorey @pastors4txkids @MrWolff76 @GregAbbott_TX @Network4pubEd @carolburris @mayes_middleton Such a disingenuous (I am being kind) tweet from these 'pastors'. If the money follows the child, how is it taking away from the child. If the government schools can provide a good service, they can compete for the child's money.

Call your Virginia Senator today to ask them to Just say NO to HB1461 when it crosses over from the House into the Senate this weekend. https://apps.senate.virginia.gov/Senator/districtlist.php
Read this week's blog on how HB 1461 could exclude YOUR student from public school.

Reminder: forcing children to read before they're ready & then FLUNKING them in third grade means failure for the child. Research shows this is unnecessary & there're better ways to help children besides 3rd-grade retention. https://nancyebailey.com/2017/10/09/force-flunk-destroying-a-childs-love-of-reading-and-their-life/
