I just returned from Washington DC where I marched for Save Our Schools (SOS), and where I was honored to speak on a panel with two individuals whom I respect as experts about special education needs. I mingled with many great educators and parent activists who I consider friends. We stood side-by-side to support great […]

I asked ChatGPT "Is the 'science of reading' settled science that determines how reading should be taught?" Here's the response. https://nancyebailey.com/2023/03/19/what-does-chatgpt-say-about-the-science-of-reading-it-may-surprise-you/

Paul Vallas stole people’s schools which means their community. Listen to parents from NOLA and Philly tonight. He did this bc he believes corp interests prevail. And there’s good $ in that. Chicago will be 💯 better with @Brandon4Chicago. 😊

@SlenderSherbet @deutsch29blog …..just like a mandatory Reading Program for Pre-K.
If kids struggle, refer for remedial services?
Label kids ‘Not Ready for K’?
Rigor will overcome everything?
We’re just not aiming high enough?
We’re not challenging children enough?
Why not pre-k Calculus class?
👅: cheek?
